National Ovarian Cancer Coalition

The mission of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) is to raise awareness and promote education about ovarian cancer. The Coalition is committed to improving the survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer.

Gail Hayward founded the NOCC in 1995 after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and made it her life’s work to help women advocate for themselves for early detection, proper treatment and improved quality of life with the disease. The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition is the nation’s leading ovarian cancer public information and education organization. Since its inception in 1995, NOCC has been committed to promoting research and raising awareness about ovarian cancer in communities across the country and to providing support for woman and their families struggling with the disease.
